How it all started

Automated Valet started in early 2003 with a good idea. Ken Gulec worked in valet at a hotel where the automation systems in operation never seemed to do quite what their developers claimed. He had an idea to create his own system that could do what no other system was ever capable of doing. He met with his good friend Selim Esen, and together they created the first AVPM® system and coined Automated Valet® Systems. With their first installation at a prominent Miami hotel, they have been going strong ever since. Now with over 100 locations, Automated Valet® Systems, including AVPM® and AVPM® MOBILE, have made a name for themselves in the industry and plan on increasing their presence.
